Picked this up from a vets family today. Dated 1937 with maker E.G. Leuner , Bautzen. Opinions? Appears near unissued.

It's a Model 34 tornister and looks to be nice condition.

Does it have the short belt hook? ( see here: http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...d.php?t=302171)

Even in this condition for some reason they can be picked up for very little outlay but nevertheless a nice example.

Excellent. As for price; around the $100 would be a fair price.

Nicw early Tornister in a pretty good condition.
Value is always a hard thing to judge, but here in Europe , if I wanted to buy a piece like that, even though it is complete and in good condition I would not want to pay more than 60€.
Those Tornisters are one of the few items that are little sough after and can pretty easily be bought for a low price.
