      Hi Steve,

It's an original GM30 made by Dräger Werke made in 38 , and used by LS (Luft Schutz).
The filter is a FE37 made by Auer Berlin

To be honest, 50$ for just mask and filter is not too bad, but not cheap.......

Hooe to have given you some info here

As Tom said: a matching S-Maske used for Luftschutz. I like the condition of the filter. Prices in ww2 german gas masks are rising slowly. 50 $ arent a bargain but totally ok.

Hey gents, got the mask in today and just had a general question. Any carcinogens in the mask? I'm not gonna try it on if there's Asbestos or any other cancer causing items haha!

Actualy, I don't see ant desigantion for Luftschutz use ( noe stmaping typical for LS usage ), so IMO it is a normal army M30 gasmask made in 1938 wuth Fe 37 filter made in 1940.

Anyone have any input on if these masks were made with toxic materials?
