                Compartments... color of the leather... These things are much more difficult to authenticate than a helmet

                  I know what your saying but once you have it down they are easy to spot.

                  Michael,
                  I will be posting a few photos of them when the 2nd one arrives! He seller had two! Both for the same price! Makes up for a few mistakes in the past.

                      But watch out! German WWI breadbags had two compartments inside. But usually only one "D"-ring.

                        The rounded edges on the aluminum buttons help ID the post-war ones too.

                          I have an identical bread bag. I paid an Easty beasty price for it and knew it wasn't second show, but its good to positively ID it. Good work all.
