    'gyp' ordinance code is whom?

    I just got a 98k ammo pouch with the ordinance code of 'gyp' and dated 1942. My files list nothing for this codes, only gyf, gyo, gyu, gyx, gyy, and gyz. The mark is perfectly legible and is 'gyp'. Can anyone ID this manufacturer? Thanks in advance!
