WW2 used Zeltbahn tasche from 1916??

    Hello to all,
I've got a few questions about this Zeltbahn tasche. I bought it with ww2 tentpegs. It's marked 1916. Is it indeed a WW2 german Zeltbahn Tasche? Were they indeed used in ww2?

    He's marked with
    BAYRISCHE .......INDUSTRIE. (I believe "HAUSINDUSTRIE")
    ....rband (I believe "Verband " )
    1916.

Is that a normal ww1 marking?

I hope someone can help me,

( What's the purpose of the belts? )
    Greetings,
    Frank

        Frank !!
I had exactly the same story - found this pouch with ww2 pegs in Poland.. I believe these vere issued to HJ etc. - look at the front marking "S" rune like for DJ

also they may be issued to the army in the early stage of war ???
Ps I sold my pouch couple years ago to Bill Shea - but I have these pics in archive

I think the pegs shown were also issued before 1918.

If that is the case, you both have/had nice and complete WW1 Zeltbahn accessories.

There is an almost infinite variety of possible BA and unit stamp combinations to be found on the pouches.

Does anyone have any WW1 dated tent pegs?

            /David
