    Outstanding Normandy camo set

You all know these days in the collector's life when you get a call, that somebody from the neighborhood has something to sell from the wehrmacht. Your eyes are even bigger when this someone adds that the previous owner was probably a soldier at the Luftwaffe and supposedly served in Normandy. After the Vets death he moved into his house where he found that gas mask. You get a blurred picture sent but immediately recognize that the part is a treasure. You make an appointment and can not sleep the days until you finally brought it home safely. The set needs no further description. Because of the completeness certainly one of the best out there. The Willi was certainly not a master of the writing but he loved camouflage colors and changed from Luftwaffe blue to southern front. Once, the can and the mask were numbered in the same way (see the overpainted number on the box and the worn-out number on the mouthpiece). Even the Lederschoner are still intact and stamped too. From now around 200 complete and untouched Wehrmachts gas mask sets this stands out particularly and it is an honor to show her here.

After a little research i could find the Death Notice of the owner. Definitely one of these younger "Kindersoldaten" Flakhelfer. Explains the childish writing style on mask and can.
