Pair of ammo pouches made in 1935 by factory of Adelbert Fischer from Guttstadt. Guttstadt was small town in East Prussia. Now it is named Dobre Miasto and is in Poland.

Name of soldier H. Svennsson written on 1937 dated ammo pouch. Do You think he was a German citizen or maybe Swedish volunteer?

I bet that before introducing new patterns in 1939, Y straps and A frames underwent field tests during 1939 campaign. We only need to find correct picture

Yes! It might be it. What we can see on the picture looks like early Y straps, 1939 pattern, with aluminium hardware. Many thanks for finding and posting this interesting picture.
