Verbandkasten with partial content

I wanted to share with you an item I love. I am completing this verbandkasten.
I have partially found a lot of item for it. I am still looking for a 100g Gewohnliche watte, 2 Kombinierte presstuck, a triangular bandage with pocket.

You would also need another metal splint, the iodine bottles and the plaster roll. Do you have the pouch for safety pins? I'll see what spares I have.

You right I forgot them: safety pin, iodine bottle too. I am waiting for the second metal splint, I found it a few days ago.

Yep, i've got 3 verbandkasten almost complete but original plaster roll is missing in two of them

I have 4 almost complete, of which 3 missing the plaster roll and 2 missing the iodine bottles and 1 missing the safety pin pouch. The rest is all there.
I have a lot of spares, certainly the gewohnliche watte and abschnurrbinde. I also have the metall splines and every verbandkasten also has one cardboard splint.
I will post what I can miss.

here are my spares: I believe I also have some extra empty Verbandkasten, if you would like a nicer one I can pull them out and shoot a pic.

In general terms Verbandkasten were more or less the same throughout the war. Anyhow, early pre-war ones had three 33x10cm cardboard pieces instead of the later 2 metal 80x10 plus 1 cardboard 33x10 cm splints. Early ones also had 20 little iodine ampoules instead of the later 2 bottles. The rest of the contents would be standard till shortages would reduce or change some contents. Safety pin pouches can be found in leather, cloth or rubberised/oil cloth.

very nice verbandkasten Carles, thanks to share . Mine is not so complete but it is in course. I have the 33x10 plastic cardboard at the bottom of mine. I hope to find the small packet to put my gewohliche watte/ Kombienerte and the triangular bandage.

On the other hand, I won't change the varbandkasten box itself, because I love her salty appearance
