ANOTHER PAIR OF "LAST-DITCH"M44 LOWBOOTS TO COMPARE WITH BILL GRIST's FRIEND's!

    Hi Bill,
here you go another pair of very, very, very, very, very, very late-war M44-style low boots.

These have been made out of no less than five different types of leather, are as tacky as they can be(my friends and I refer to them as to "WH-issue Tap-dancer/Gigolo shoes"!) but they're nevertheless even more interesting than your bud's in that me and a very well-known and advanced German collector discussed about this shoes and the possibility of them being the elusive, last type of WH-issue low boot, which would and should have taken the place of both the M44 and the bergschuhe....I'm quite positive about that and my friend even more so,since he offered me good Dollahs or a pair of mint, tropical low boots which offer I obviously refused....only to discover soon, as Murphy's Law would have it, that a whole depot full to the rafters with thousands of these boots have been found somewhere in the former Greater Reich's territories !Please note how the nail-pattern of the heels is identical to the one found on the Bergschuhe and how they do have features found on both styles!
    Hope you enjoy!
    Manny
P.S.;Many shoes nearly identical to WW2 vintage ones have been found in Germany, the Czech Republic and Austria...they were produced after the war and none of them, as far as I've seen at least, have WW2 German sizing/RBNrs or lot # stamped on them.....mine and Bill's Friend's do !

Very cool boots Manny. Thanks for sharing!

PS- could I beg you to start a "boot education tread" one of these days. Good information is very hard to come by and I think alot of people would benefit from a boot time line and yoru knowledge. Just an idea.

        THANKS!

That is one FUGLY pair of boots. I wonder if the soldier who was issued them also got a free bowl of soup?

I'm deeply and terribly sorry for hurting your sense of fashion and your good taste and many other members's who are so accustomed to classy, pricey,Kretish and Cassinoish Springstiefel too, with these poor, comtemptable pieces of crap Gene! Here you go a very, very, very, very, very, very, very pre-pre-pre-pre-pre-production pair of GUCCI Crocodile and bamboo pumps which were to be issued to high rank Third Reich's Personalities' wives and whose style still lives up to our days in GUCCI's new collections for a mere $1550 a pair, exactly like the ones I've just bought my girlfriend...I could have bought myself a nice M35 tunic or a mint pair of classy, El-Alameinish first model tropical boots but, hey.....love is love!
            Respectfully,
            Manuel
