Got this the other day... any ideas? It`s a bit bigger then a gas cape pouch, 2 belt loops, riveted like the late war small back packs... and a stamp, but i can`t read it! Interesting are the 4 snaps on the frontside, but only 2 on the flap!

Construction nor model looks like any thing I know. Only the press buttons are familiar.

Material looks like from a parachute carrying bag. So in connection with the press-studs and the unusual fixed belt loops could be a company made pouch for some special gear one would prefer to have fixed on you when jump.

In the early days paras tested a lot of selfmade gear.

Markings could have been on the material already...

So, i got another one, exactly the same, from ebay... this one came from southern Germany, the first was found in east Germany...

I found out that map case inlets fit perfectly inside, maybe a kind of map case?

Sewing on leather not world war 2 German type. Metal riveting reinforce leather not good signs for world war 2 German. I think NVA.

Why is the sewing not ww2? And so you know the rivited leather parts on the small back packs, for example?
