It could well be Jos, but I have never seen anything like that!The soles look "right" and the stamping does too !

It was the first time and last for me too to see this..!
The boots were 100 % and very well made,very small stitches etc.they looked more like "weekend" boots..
Inside was right ,nicely marked etc..
I think they were just a fancy kinda boots officers could buy and the particular shoemaker,well,he also added that small eagle ,other boot was similar and the small eagles were very consistent with the markings ,absolutely not added later or something..
Just my feeling..nothing but a fancy pair of boots.
But it was nice to see such marking..
