Lamp ???

Hi Guys !
For a couple of days ago I saw something called " Einheitspanzerlampe "
Not sure I spell the German correct .
It also stand " 25Ah 2.6v " . Dia about 10cm and height about 25 cm . And it had a battery back inside .
Can someoe tell me what they used this lamp to .

Lamp opened . Very heavy lamp and very well made . Look at screwing on top !

Is this some kind of bunkers light ?

Hi jan,
Its a luftwaffe airfield marker lamp. I saw a good photo with one in the other day. I think they are fairly self explanitory though

*edit* panzer in this case means its armoured so it doesnt matter if it gets dinged by a plane

It was taken from Haslemoen Airfield in Norway just after the war .
