Hey Bill,
I think this is a "safety device" for moving rounds It would screw or secure itself to the front of the head.fuze and you can move it around or into the gun.


Lets see some more of the goodies that you picked up!

Perhaps a fuze setter? The locks on the inside might fit corresponding grooves on the time fuze. I have never seen anything quite like it.
