K98 sling doubt

Hello everyone,
i bought a k98 sling via ebay. When i got the package, the sling i received was not the sling shown on the pictures of the advert on youtube. If this was an original sling i won't have any problems with it, but i have some doubts about the originality, could anyone help me out?
There are no waffenamt's markings that i've been able to see yet. I have doubts about some painting and the fact that the crossed line pattern is not present on the sling itself, but only on the buckle



One side of the sling looks like it has been painted



If not clear on the picture, the markings are, if i'm reading it correctly: "LAVEK", "K G", and "clg 44"


Here again, some parts look painted


Here it is not clear to see on the pictures, but it is marked "PA" or "DA" or something with ink









Under the leather, i saw that the iron piece beneath is with an opening in the middle, like a groove/slot.



2 tear-shaped holes with about 4,5cm in between them.

It's MP 40 carrying strap based on tho tear drop holes and looks to be postwar based on the look of buckle.

Is it possible that the sling is original but not the stop?
