Einsatz 6 Pouch

Hello,
I was recently given this by a veteran who is a patient of mine. He told me it was picked up in Germany before the wars end. As a physician I am aware of what it is used for ( administering ether for surgical anesthesia), but is it WWII era equipment or earlier? The only markings I could see are Chiron on a few of the instruments. Also are these scarce or fairly common. Thank you in advance.

Wehrmacht medical related indeed, belonged in the Truppenbesteck-box.
