Yep, from the first pics it could be the same thing. That's why detailed pics and dimensions are required to classify items. I would say your's IS a spare barrel case for MG15.

I´m just wondering about a leather case for a sparebarrel. You change the barrel when it´s hot, very hot. And after changing you put it into that leatherpouch?

No, there are three:

-the first pics of a black one, now clear it is for a camara tripod.
- a brown one, a bit longer, for MG15 spare barrel, lined in asbestos.
. and now a third case, even shoter, for flutes.

it would be good to have a comparison photo of the three, to see differences and dimensions.
