Hi
Not totally sure but the stamps but could be Artillery Abteilung 1. And maybe Komp. 1? /11.The Maker is the fameous Berlin C2 maker Adalbert Fischer's department in Guttstadt / Ost Preussen. 1939?
Checking my references, I don't find an Artillerie-Abteilung 1, so, while a good guess, that couldn't be it. 'A.A.' more often stands for Aufklärungs-Abteilung, so I'd expect this is 1. Kompanie/ Aufklärungs-Abtielung 1- the '11' perhaps being a serial number. 'K.A.1' could be anything- there's no Kompanie, so I'm not sure it indicates another unit, although there are several it could be. If the Zeltbahn were reissued to a different unit, I'd expect the old mark to be crossed-out or inked over or something- but it's not.
I just gave it another shot with my (little) knowledge in such matters isn't much but the 11 aren't not a number but two II's meaning second deliverance? I have seen the Roman letterings meaning explaned before but I have forgot what it was? Except for the above. The Aufklärer ides sounds greet to me I would like to know as well I have some leather pouches stamped 1. /AA 2. I.G.
