    G43 Ersatz pouch for review

    Hi Guys,

    Got this G43 pouch and would love your opinions on this one. Real deal or Maybe a good repro? Looks good imo.
    Also the thing that I can't figure out is the year stamp on the back. 194. ?? Was is maybe later added (post war) or maybe a failed stamp? Would love you opinions.

        Far from an expert but it looks like a very nice original pouch.

        I believe the maker used the code fuq and the date is 45

        There are several examples that have been posted on the forum, here was the first one I found.

              Here's a better photo of the one in the link below (mine). Pretty much identical except for the leather color on the rear loop. Looks like both of these show Russian capture indications (the black paint on the hardware).

                  One of the late vinyl type material G43 pouch coming out of old Com block Russia in particular used to be no where to be had years ago. Were high priced if you did locate one nice one and well marked. timothy

                    Excellent pouch! Love the recycled belt loops and pebbled piece for the d ring! So much variation in these!
