Nice gas mask set with brush camo

Hi folks. This Set came together with the canteen i posted 2 days ago. Mask and can are dusty and untouched but nothing special. Can is a Reichswehr type but i really dont know why somebody applied that brush camo (see Detail pic). At the bottom of the can i found this letter/enroll. It has a nice stamp and was delivered in march 1945. Inside were 5 spare lenses. The letter says that they should be used in the next Training session. The message at the end shouldnt be translated . The letter shows that the germans should be prepared for a gas attack until the end although us and red army had captured already over 80% of germany at that time. Opinions are welcome.

Might add Luftschutz (Air Protection) filter I have a m39 military mask with one I think filters got switched and used for what was on hand. timothy
