Your MP40 pouches look good to me however, the canvas used is less course than most I have seen.

The black one is a winner for sure. The brown leather one sports a rather unusual D-ring attachment, but I would still think it's good!

thanks for the quick replies. I own this pair for nearly 8 years and they came in as pair (without the magazines and the loading tool) out of small town near the Elbe river, where many units surrendered in 1945.
