Pak 3,7 cm ammunition box

Hello,

Here I have a nice PAK 3,7 cm ammunition box I'm interested in, but I would like to get some help about it...

Could anyone confirm this is the original wartime paint on this Pak ammunition box or could it be post war repainted? Or possible oiled?

All opinions are welcome.
