Hi,
What we can say is that it's for Luftwaffe. I don't know if tools are for a gunsmith (waffenmeister) or any maintenance work on a plane ...
I'm pretty sure that somebody will identify this box.

Certainly Luftwaffe, as mentioned. I believe there is a web that deals with the FL codes and could bring some light to it. Anyhow, there should be something written on the cover of the box, under that brown paint...

With the Reichswehr eagle stamp this item is pre WWii as well. Nice addition.

The brown paint actually looks the same shade as used for the 3 colour camo scheme used in the Weimar period.

Could you also show the tool located under the pliers in the back tray?

Is their anything in the tool bags or rolls?

It looks like nearly everything is in their so nice find indeed from the pre war period
