Another addition for my Gas related collection : Riechprobenkasten

Hi guys

Recently bought this one (was looking for one for a long time)

The Riechprobenkasten which contained actual samples of the gasses mentioned.... they were used to select people for the Gas troops based on their ability to smell.....

The box was only to be opened with/ or by an officer !!

I am not an officer , and should not have opened it, because in some containers, the actual gas still are present, and they irritate my nose

Anyway, I already had the H.Dv. which is lying in front of it...... and the gloves (which are the earlier type for the Gasschutzanzug 37) are pretty new also....
