Strange Gasplane

I have only 2 gascapes in my collection, one is very strange...

One side is brown, the other is white...

It came straight from an attic here in germany around 10 years ago.

Now... there are 2 makers and dates...

Did you ever saw such a cape with 2 makers? And, a "39" dated with "TP"???

It's not 39 dated but 43 dated as far as I see (39 could be batch number - the middle numbers is date not the one from far right ). yes I have seen such double maker marked gasplanes ( have one in my collection ).
Nothing to worry about - original mid war gasplane made of rubberized cloth.

It wasn't blackened. Simply the ink was stamped badly and that's why isn't too well readable.
Those rubberized closth gasplanes were issued from 1941 till 1944 ( haven't seen any 1945 dated yet ) so there is no posibility that it was in 1939 ( as you suggested earlier ).
