Presstoff shovel carrier just found - original?

    Hello,

I recently found this entrenching shovel carrier at a local garden centre.

It looks ok to me and certainly has age. I can vaguely make out a date of 1944 in an oval shaped marking, the maker stamp I assume?

If anyone could confirm either way on it's originality and also perhaps provide more info on the stamping, if possible, that'd be great!

    Thank you

Same stamp on my '43 dated tan carrier. E.G. Leuner, GmBh, Bautzen. Mine also stamped WaA159.

Thank you for posting your leather carrier Mike, very nice one! The makers stamp is the exact same just a different date
