Looks like the unreadable stamp is "MK"; Maschinenkarabiner perhaps? I know it's normally abbreviated as MKb but what the hell.

btw, I can understand why a soldier would throw away one side, these things weigh a LOT when filled with mags and ammo.....

I will take a better look at the stamps somorrow, maybe I can figure out what it says...
