    Unknown german "Tasche"

I bought these 2 pouches along with a lot of original things, that were storaged in a box during all the years.
It's for sure that they're original, but where were they used for?
They're a bit dirty, but in a very nice condition.

    Who can help me?
    Look at the beautiful markings.

    Greetings from Holland,
    Frank

Looks like a map case, or possibly a pouch for artillery devices

              MG pouches

The size of the pouches are 18 cm. wide, 18 cm high and 5,5 cm deep.

Both pouches have numbers at the front in the leather . For example (as you can see on the foto) 9813. Like the numbers you see on weapons. The material and colour of the pouches looks a lot like those of the mg 13 pouches. Is it possible that these pouches are mg pouches, for parts etc?
It starts to look more and more, that that's true.

One of the pouches is very clearly marked WaA 63

Wich means Mauser Werke A.G. Oberndorf, or

              Waffenwerke Brunn

              Does someone reconise them already?

              Greetings,
              Frank

Sorry, but these are not WW2 German made. The WaA is a add-on, and would never have been placed at the front. The construction, sewing method and D-ring are all definetively not German.

                  Hello,
Is there also not a chance, that it are very early Reichswehr pouches?

                  Greetings,

That eagle looks just like the one stamped by landser militaria, with it high wings
                    Regards

No, there isn't. The eagle would have been a total mismatch anyway. These could be anything else but German. The WaA is clearly added, and doesn't belong there.

Sorry, but there is no way on earth that these pouches will ever be German WW2!!!!

                          Hello,
Thank you for your opinion. I'm convinced.
I'll explain why I really thought it must be original.

I bought it alogn with a Zeltbahn set , as earlier discribed. The seller did't mention these pouches at all in the Auktion. You could only see them in a small corner of the foto at the Auktion.

Because of the way the Zeltbahns were packed, you could see that the set must have been togather since the war. For example in someons garage.

Not a place where you would expect to find a replica and post-war stamped pouches.
                          Don't you think?

                          Greetings,
                          Frank
