I am not an expert on the matter, but know a bit about these. The most common are Werk Fulpmes which was the cooperative name for the many small blacksmiths in the Stubai valley of Austria that made them. They were all too small to be awarded a contract and so started the co-op to get the Wehrmacht contract. They stamped their Eispickel with WERKGEN FULPMES in an oval and their Steigeisen with FULPMES GENOSSENSCHAFT in a circle. That co-op eventually became the Stubai Werkzeugindustrie which still exists today. Their logo was "STUBAI" in a diamond. Then there was "F. RALLINGS SCHMIEDEWERKE FULPMES", "FRANZ SEEN FULPMES", and "A. HORESCHOWSKY Wien". Those are the ones I know of. Items made in the Stubai valley were waffenamt'd WaA108.
My information comes from Hermann Falschlunger who worked for Stubai Werkzeugindustrie his entire life and who's father worked there during 2WK. I met Herr Falschlunger at many Chicago National Restaurant Assoc. shows (Stubai makes chef's knives as well) and he was amazed that someone cared to understand what his company manufactured so long ago. We had quite a few long talks and he is a most pleasant and helpful man.
