Hi, it could be use for either a MG42 or MG34, I think the stamp mite be the year it was made, and I think this is use for motorbike sidecar, or other vehicle as its a extension arm, not for a AA tripod.
Yes, this is a later war extension bar for the Lafette 34 or 42(either) to convert it from heavy ground role tripod to AA tripod, not for the Dreibein nor motorbike or other. Early war were made of Elektron (Aluminium based alloy).

Thanks Carles, as I didn't know that there was a attachment arm for the Lafette, as I only seen extension arms for motorbike side cars, and vehicle's, again thanks I have learnt something, and infact I am in the process off buying a Lafette for my MG-34.
Well, I brought it out just for the photo...as I usually keep the Lafette under my bed and the bar in a spare barrel carrier, where they have been for a couple of years, at least.
