Guys.

Could you help me out with this one? I never had one of these before so i dont really know what to look for in the repros.

It is well made, but i feel thats a lot of work for a latewar item, seems like it took more time to make it than the normal pattern.

But you never know...

I have another type of this maker and it features the same string through the loop. Imo, a good sign. I like this one but imo its not per se late war since it was first designed to be combined with the folding shovel as far as I know.

Correct....not really late war, but the "model 1942" (as we call it) designed to fit better on the back of the folding spade carrier. Some members have said that the official name for this model was literally that: “Seitengewehrtasche für das Zusammenklappbare Schanzzeug”. (Bayonet holder for folding entrenching tools).
