        Agree looks like soviet type. Maybe some low number prototype or postwar cammunistic block shovel ( one for sure I can say - not polish made shovel ).

                now i have another question, the spade comes with this leather cover is this related - also royal hungarian army ww2 period?

                the leather cover is marked with X.A.B. or K.A.B.

                        by the way, the same leather was used for the 1910m spade during the austrian-hungarian monarchy.
