Original or not? A strap is broken and missing.

Original and untouched ( cover and stamp ). Pretty bad about the strap which have been cut off.

simple, leave it as is. It's original in this way, if you going to add a strap you will mess up the original stitching and collecters will notice, so it's decreasing in historical and financial value. Some rare items are damaged, thats how it is, and they should be left alone.
