    98k frog with roller bar.

    Hello WAF !
    So I'm still search early 98k bayonet frog.
    And look's what I found, nice frog as I want, but roller bar or caring straps ???
    I think it's not a text book.
    Any option's are welcome.

      Never seen the brass rivets either. Odd one... Probably not German.

        Brass rivet typical for early frog. This frog from 1934. I thinks rivet is correct.

                    Markings? It appears to be clean enough for any markings to be legible.

                    Why would this be an early prewar frog? Did they use one like that during WWI or the Reichwehr era?

                      I have one bayonet frog with brass rivets - with marking Mainz 1922. But these frog has has late short form.
                      For me, these bayonet frog is from late Reichwehr era, and reworked during the TR era. Original frog belt was lost, and replaced with other one.
