Strange ebd 44 strap

Just rediscovered that one in my garage:

I bought about 50 WW2 gas masks with canisters in Prague over 20 years ago. All of the masks and canisters had Czechoslovakian civil defense markings but all components were original WW2 German, and all of the straps had these ebd 44 markings.

No wonder as those straps were developed and made ONLY by FATRA which is czechoslovak gamask maker.
