Ex. Y-straps for review

I would like to hear some opinions on these y-straps, I cant find any maker marks, just a logo stamp on the back of the buckles.

This is the only set that looks good, although I haven't seen undyed D-ring leather on dyed straps... but that could be a variety....

Back strap looks like a good one....

I would vote for a good one on this, but as it comes from the same source as the rest, I would be a little careful......

Just a question/observation…..but have the two front equipment hooks been changed out or added?
I don't remember seeing rollers at the top of the hooks on this type of late war y-strap (usually similar looking type without roller) and I see that one small leather tab is missing at the bottom of the main strap and the other leather tab is bent in a way that suggests it has been folded to either remove or add the clips.
Again, just an observation as the rest of the strap looks fine to me.

Vilja, Its very possible the 2 front hooks have been changed, this is how I received them, both of the front hooks are marked on the reverse with a stamp, looks like a "w" with a "c" going over it??
I dont like how the front hooks dont have any way of locking onto the ammo pouches, they are smooth inside. Most originals have a big ear inside that locks onto the ammo pouches.
