Forum Members, A friend of mine came across a German WW2 black bakelite binocular case.....It's complete including the shoulder strap.....Only thing a little off is the leather pull strap that connects to the latch....It has been replaced with a brown piece of leather and a brass or copper rivet.....It appears old.....What are the chances it's a German field repair?....Any thoughts appreciated as usual...Bodes
