The "normal" laqured" canisters have a "Heinrich Ritter" makers mark, the anodized a code, but no year! The laqured ones are stenciled, the anodized are not! Are the anodized water canisters? Or for other purpose? Or late war ones? But why are anodized? And, if they are late war, why are they so rare?
The color on the closing hook isn`t late war Einheitsfarbe, so first model water bottle for tropical theater?

      Best regards

Hmmmmm, still hard to belive, 5 Liter Z-Stoff for a V1? And as i know Z-Stoff was very aggressiv, and the can have a rubber gasket! ;-)

Is there any proof for that theory?

                  Regards
                  Dirk
