Ww2 german equipment of the landser (1944)

    Hi,

I would like to ask you a question regarding the Mess Tin M31; more precisely the method of wear it. I would like to know if the mess tin could be worn on the breadbag and if so, how? If you can put some pics, it would help me a lot.

    Thanks,

    Richard

Yes, the mess tin could be worn on the bread bag......

    for pictures :

(btw, I used the A-frame strap here, still have to replace that picture with one with a normal (8-holed) Mess tin strap....)

      Hi Tom,

Thanks a lot for your answer. Is it difficult to find an original (8-holed) Mess tin strap?

            Tom ,

I have a WW2 German bread bag with a maker name very difficult to read. It's inscribed "R. Kein" or "R. Keir" or " R. Keim". Perhaps you know who he is. I will send you an email with a photo.

              Hi Tom,

I bought the "Equipment Strap Nr.5" (a mess tin strap - 57cm in length).
