    Der Landrat Weirmar disc - what is it?

    Wasn't sure of the proper forum for posting this one, but here goes...

    I came across this aluminum disc yesterday from a picker that had purchased a small collection from an estate.

    If memory serves, I remember seeing these discs attached to license plates. Correct?

      You are right,

      these badges had to be affixed on car license plates when the car was registered. This example was given out by the German city of Weimar.
