Y Strap 1944 on estand opinion

Posted these Y- straps on e stand. Can your please offer your opinion on these combat worn straps? They have what appears to be some re sewn thread field repairs. White thread color of field repairs look close in tone. thread appears to be of cotton. No recent tampering that I can see on them. Thank You. http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...d.php?t=798118

They have features of early made ones but are stamped 1944, but they look good imo.

Where is the resewn part you are referring too?

Edit: any closeup of the backstrap only?

Yes, that's what made me wonder also.....

They have the features of an early war pair of Y straps, yet it is stamped 1944.....

Now I know that the de Valk, A'dam stamp also is used on repro's, so I was wondering if the was a case of a perfectly original strap , ruined by a fake stamp ??

Since I am interested in buying the strap I was wondering what everyone's opinion is

Maybe it's me but the second 4 looks odd and I see a light shape of a 1 under it..?

Here are more photos of the Y strap. Gentleman there is no number 1 under the 4. I looked with my microscope no signs of over stamping.

The fake stamps are easy to get, its one of the most used ones on Chinstraps.

As for the ystrap, i think its ok, i like it.

                  Hi

I have no doubts on the Y strap themselves, they are original allright.....

Could it be a possibility that the leather piece (with stamp) is added later ?? (because there are other repairs also ? )

                  Just a theory of course.....
