    Plane Compass/with Capture Papers

    does anybody know what plane this compass came out of. The capture papers states 1- compass ( wrecked airplane) dated September 25th, 1944. thanks

      capture papers, the vet was a Lt. Colonel who was attached to an Armoured Division.

        Hi,
        this is an FK38 Oil compass. Someone put one of these on the boards a few weeks ago so do a search. It seems in nice condition and is worth around 100-150 euro. These compasses were used in lots of German aircraft including the He162 salamander
