    DAK "Y" Straps On Ebay

    Happy Holidays to all,

I had my eye on this Web "Y" straps on ebay.

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tem=2293825880

The straps look pretty good but I wanted to put it before the experts for opinions anyway. Even though the auction for this item is over, it may come back up in the future.

Also, does any one know of this seller? Manny have you ever run in to this guy? I'm always a bit leery of bidding on overseas items.

    Thank you. Steve

They have been relisted, so are available again.
Need better pictures of how the straps are sewn together, where the auxiliary straps meet the front straps etc. Very good condition, does the webbing look okay Mike? That price is very good IMO.

Agree Harry - it looks okay.. but it may be resewn.. etc.... - there could be some small repairs we cant see on these pictures..... but all the webbing and hardware looks good IMHO

$330 gone... not a bad price.... well.. I am out of cash.. (and I got web straps couple weeks ago)... that was a good deal I think

They sold for $330 "buy it now" price. I must agree they looked good to me too.

            Cheers, Ade.

They were nice indeed............another mint pair of 1941-dated, GENUINE, tropical Y-strap in Manny's little collection...and at €248 it's been a steal, given their condition(mint!),vintage(1941) and (useless )10-days guarantee!

Merry Christmas to all of you!

Manny did you buy the straps? Right on! I guess I should have bid on this one? I just get cold feet with overseas dealers. Beter luck next time, eh?

Manny, do you know the dealer? Is he/she pretty reliable? (for future reference)

Take care all and have a safe holyday!

                Steve

P.S. For 60 + families, here at Fort Lewis, it won't be a very cheery holiday .
