    Size of German sand bags? Please help.

    Good afternoon gentlemen:

    I want to rebuild a machine gun position in reenact game of 2005 0101(in our country),I can't find any information for the sand bag size,could you help please?

    The Gemans didn't use custom made sand bags much in their forward postions, they were saved for rear areas, they used logs ,banked earth,wood, wicker ,soil filled ammo and general transporting containers, dismainted boxes, straw bales etc, if they had cloth shipping bags they would be used( Tan, Grey, or brown burlap bags)2 layers were consided to be bullet or protective from mortars.

      Thank you very much Sir,I got the almost same answer from my good friend,and I checked many photos from books/library..etc,You're absolute correct,I found the sand bags in German ground troops is very hard to find..

      Its a good lesson to me today! Thank s again for your great help!!!
