    opinions on bread bag please.

hey Guys, Glenn again. last week I asked a question about 3 or 4 holed buttons on bread bags. this is the reason why. I got this a few years back also and it sure looks the part to me. it is maker marked on the reverse of the center strap and has all the qualities you look for in a bread bag. the only thing that concerns me is... there are only 3 buttons remaining on it and 1 is definatly a replacement. the other 2 look to be originally sewn. I'm hoping that is not the case for they are 4 holed and I am told that this is probably not a good thing. but for all I know the 2 buttons were post war added which would be fine with me because then I'll just get some 3 holed ones and re-sew them on. but heres some pics. please let me know your thoughts on the bag itself. as far as the buttons, as I said, those can be replaced with the proper attire. I'm into the date and maker. if anyone out there actually can decifer this maker please let me know. thanks, Glenn

Hi Glenn, the bag looks fine to me. I cannot make out who is the maker is, sorry.

I would not lose any sleep over the buttons.

              Cheers, Ade.

this pic is of the stitching on the 4 holed buttons. both 4 holed buttons are done this way which does make me feel they were "factory" installed. is this a typical stitch pattern?
