period piece/ post war, how can you tell?

hey Guys. I got the day off from work today so ofcourse I'm spending all day with those I love. my regalia, whoopps... I mean my Family! so anyways I'm trying to close up a few lose ends I've been meaning to do. first one are these gas mask straps. I got this set a few years ago. mask and all. its great everything, I mean everythings is dated '43 except these straps. (I dont know if these straps are ever dated though). so my question is how do you know if they are the real deal. I see post war/ repro's for sale all the time and ofcourse that concerns me. these definatly look the age and wear as the whole set combined does but as We all know anything can be aged. except my Wife. shes so pretty! she's got to be one hell of a chick to stick with me and my obessions of this hobby! but heres some pics of the straps. (not my Wife) please let me know your thoughts about them to hopefully clear the air. thanks, Glenn

Hi Glenn, sorry for the late response, but I wanted to give you a second opinion on these, and I do agree, these are 100% okay. Post war straps are thicker (not wider), stiffer, and more coarse.
