Looks nice to me, but what do I know

Could be police, as it is brown and has not rivets - and as the police got most of their leather equipment like pistol holsters and MP pouches from makers in Berlin.

Why not show it in the edged weapons table.

Looks legit to me too. Could be gendarmerie (not Feldgendarmerie!)which had brown leather gear.

The frog looks very promising to me.
As a small hobby I always check the makers in the phonebook
of 1942.
Interestingly the maker exists but the name is written different.

the stamp reads Engel & Kubig where as the phone book entry reads
Engel & Krubig...

this frog IMO is a repro.

The maker is not common to made Leather equipment.

Also the name is writen wrong...

The leather and the Art of work is not out of the time.

The color is to much tan... gendermarie/landjäger hab a differnet brown... this is buff leather.

I am not so convinced either, I feel the "hole" for the scabbards hook is too round instead of oval. The Stamps looks a bit amateur applied as well.
