I found this tropical strap. Does anyone know, what was this used for? It´s marked. Thanks in advance

Its for optic-cases, e.g. for the MGZ40 or mortar-optic.
BTW, its not "tropical" just because its made of webbing...

Need to see the other ends (round shape) - so far they look like the rare webbing straps for the fur-backpack (tornister)

Yes it is, was my 1st thought, too. But without seeing the ends, they could have been straps removed from a backpack.
