    Personal Items

For those reenactor guys out there

It's always nice to have personal effects that are a little more personal than a shaving kit and toothbrush. Here I got a pocket journal, a pencil, and some photos of my "kleiner Bruder" and me. In the first page is written "Für mein Wohlstand" (for my prosperity). And on the next page is a scripture from the Book of Mormon (yes, I'm a Mormon) Written in German. What personal effects that are actually personal do you guys have?

    Personnal items.

Hello, very nice. If I can get you an advice, try to make the white border on the photos. You can also try to write in Sutterlin german. I make French and civilian reenacting, our group have made a song book, and print photos of our group in civil and military.
Nice work and nice ideas you have here.

You could also research your unit Feldpost number and location at a certain time. This way you could make up Feldpost envelopes, if not even letters to go in them from family memebers.

I might do that. But I'm not sure modern envelopes are period correct

You might have to do some digging and research for period envelopes. There were also folding letter templates.
