2 pair of marching boots for review

Some opinions on these 2 pair of marching boots will be apreciated.
The first pair looks ok to me. THe metal plate on the bottom is marked and the boots itself are marked on the inside.

The second pair look adapted. They've been shortened and stiched back up. I heard sometimes drivers used to do this to be able to work pedals better ( dont know if its true). The soles look weir in comparisson with the rest of the boots. Post war replacment?

first pair as you has writen is ok,second pair would be not for me.

I agree with wehl. The first pair looks like good used WWII boots. I can't comment on the second pair.
