It would be great to get your thoughts on this MG34 strap. They have been heavily faked, but this one looks like it might have a chance of being an original example that has been repaired at one end. What do you think?

I was wondering why that part looked like that...now I see it has been repaired.

Carles and Marcin,

Many thanks for your comments. The basic strap and the two buckles looked original, but I wondered about that piece of leather used for the repair too. It is done in the way that you see these straps repaired, but the texture of the leather is not standard Wehrmacht. Czech leather explains it perfectly.
